Begüm Malkoçlar is an interdisciplinary artist and creator. In her practice, she brings together different materials, colors, and textures to construct layered compositions. Collage, a technique she frequently employs in both physical and digital media, allows her to reveal the invisible connections within everyday life while embracing coincidence and creative association as part of her process.

In her artworks, Begüm enjoys crafting theatrical and playful narratives infused with a sense of humor. By reinterpreting the small and seemingly ordinary details of daily life through her distinctive visual language, she seeks to make them visible. Storytelling lies at the heart of her illustrations, where she creates alternative visual narratives through character design. Drawing inspiration from cultural references, personal experiences, and emotions, her works aim to form an emotional bond with the viewer and open spaces for reflection.

Begüm Malkoçlar is an artist based between Istanbul and London. She recently held her first solo exhibition at Büyükdere35 Gallery and participated in the Akbank Contemporary Artists Prize Exhibition. Her work has been included in various group exhibitions in Istanbul, Lisbon, London, and New York. Additionally, she designed a special gift wrap for Boyner as part of the BASE x Boyner collaboration. Through her platform Bedoojournal, Begüm continues to collaborate with different brands and pursue her multifaceted creative practice.

Print
We produce museum-quality prints using industry-leading Giclée technology and archival-grade matte papers ranging from 200gsm to 260gsm. With up to 12 individual colour inks, each print captures incredible depth, detail, and vibrancy.

Frame

Our frames are handcrafted from premium wood, featuring clean, minimal lines and a smooth satin finish. They are fitted with a perspex glaze that offers excellent protection against sunlight, helping preserve your artwork. Each frame arrives fully assembled and ready to hang.

The thin slat frames are made of the highest quality ayous wood, known for its durability, and have a depth of 1.5 cm and a width of 1.5 cm on the front side. (for sizes 50x70cm and smaller)
