Born in Istanbul, Kaşıkçı began drawing as a child, inspired by Disney animations. Gaining experience at various advertising agencies in his early career, Kaşıkçı also took courses in plastic arts, which helped him grow. He has collaborated with numerous brands.

In his artistic practice, Kaşıkçı is particularly influenced by mid-century modern and retro aesthetics, as well as the visual language of the 1950s and 1960s, bringing these themes to his illustrations with a contemporary interpretation. In addition to his professional work, he enjoys playing the guitar, painting, and producing photography and video.
